Aims and Scope

Muqoddima invites scholarly contributions that interrogate power, identity, institutions, and meaning in contemporary and historical settings. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and comparative approaches that enrich sociological analysis with insights from anthropology, political science, religious studies, and cultural studies. We seek to elevate voices, cases, and ideas from Southeast Asia and the Global South more broadly.
