Peran Orang Tua Terhadap Penggunaan Gadget Pada Perkembangan Sosial Anak Usia Dini Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims at the role of parents in the use of gadgets in early childhood social development during the COVID 19 pandemic. The research method used is qualitative research, which includes observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were 5 children consisting of 3 boys and 2 girls. This qualitative research is carried out every day in observing children's daily activities in playing gadgets. The results of this study prove that the use of gadgets in children's social development is very much needed. The role of parents is very much needed in the social development of children regarding the positive and negative impacts of gadgets for early childhood. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study imply that the role of parents is very important in supervising children's social development.
