Islam Nusantara: Journal for the Study of History and Culture constitutes a peer-reviewed academic publication dedicated to the advancement of scholarly discourse concerning the historical, cultural, and intellectual dimensions of Islam within the Nusantara region, with particular emphasis on its dynamic interactions with local traditions and global Islamic thought. The journal prioritizes empirically grounded research that employs novel primary sources, as well as theoretically sophisticated contributions that challenge established paradigms in the field.
Islam Nusantara: Journal for the Study of History and Culture is a peer-reviewed journal that is published twice a year in January and July by the Faculty of Islam Nusantara, Nahdlatul Ulama University of Indonesia (Unusia), Jakarta.
