Business licensing is a crucial requirement for conducting business activities. In addition to providing protection for legal rights and ownership, licensing also serves as a regulatory tool for business operations. The Job Creation Law has simplified the business licensing process, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the implementation of micro, small, and medium enterprise licensing policies under the Job Creation Law in Rancabungur Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. The author employs a sociological or empirical legal research method using a statute approach and a case approach. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The research findings reveal that although the legal framework has been well-defined, its implementation still faces several challenges. The dissemination of information about MSME licensing, particularly regarding the importance of NIB, has not been evenly conducted.
