Focus and Scope

Mozaic: Islam Nusantara publishes original research and scholarly works in the field of Islamic education at all levels, including: Early Childhood Education (PAUD/RA/Kindergarten) – studies on Islamic-based early learning, character formation, and curriculum development for young learners. Primary Education (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/MI) – research on pedagogy, curriculum, and student development in Islamic elementary education. Secondary Education (Madrasah Tsanawiyah/MTs and Madrasah Aliyah/MA) – studies on teaching strategies, learning innovations, and Islamic educational policies for junior and senior high school levels. Higher Education (Universities and Islamic Higher Education Institutions) – research on Islamic pedagogy, curriculum innovation, and scholarly discourse in Islamic studies.

The journal also covers broader Islamic studies, including Islamic thought, history, culture, and contemporary issues, as well as research on teaching and learning across educational settings. Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches are highly encouraged to provide diverse perspectives and methodologies in exploring Islamic education and scholarship.
