Aims and Scope

The term "community service" refers to activities that utilize relevant science and technology to advance the welfare of the community and educate the nation's life. This journal publishes articles with topics such as theoretical innovations or methods or strategies for implementing community service activities, community service management innovations, university-community partnership strengthening programs, as well as other topics related to the impact and best practices in the implementation of community service. to society.

Praxis accepts article submissions from all over the world. All accepted articles will be published for payment of an article processing fee, and will be available free of charge to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage.

Praxis accepts article manuscripts with the following types:

  • Research Article: contains a quantitative, qualitative, or combination method study that shows the impact of community service projects on local communities, students, lecturers, or institutions.
  • Reflective Essays: contain sharp reflections on current issues or ideas related to community service based on literature.
  • Projects with Prospects: contains a description of the early stages of a community service project with an initial indication of its impact; long-term evaluation plan; a plan for how the project will remain sustainable; and best practices for readers to emulate.
  • Book Reviews: contains reviews of books related to community service which are more than just content descriptions, in order to analyze and extract their implications for theory and practice.
