Improving The Quality of Learning Through Independent Curriculum Seminars at The Daarul Ahsan Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

Daarul Ahsan Islamic Boarding School faces several problems in the learning process, namely in the form of a lack of understanding of the application of the independent curriculum and difficulties in implementing creative and innovative learning. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of learning through the Independent Curriculum Seminar. The purpose of this seminar is to explore affective strategies to improve the quality of learning through the implementation of the independent curriculum in the Daarul Ahsan Islamic Boarding School. The participants in this seminar were 26 people consisting of the Head of the Islamic Boarding School, the Head of the Islamic Boarding School, and the teachers of Daarul Ahsan Islamic Boarding School. The methods used in the implementation of the seminar were presentation methods and question and answer discussions. Presentations included exposure to the design of teaching materials in accordance with the independent curriculum. This seminar provides solutions to various obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum and supports Daarul Ahsan Islamic Boarding School in improving the quality of learning.
