Focus and Scope

MIZANIA: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Akuntansi is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Accounting Study Program, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia (UNUSIA), Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing empirical and theoretical scholarship in accounting, financial governance, and business sustainability, with particular emphasis on financial accountability, organizational performance, and sustainable value creation.

MIZANIA: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Akuntansi provides an international scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate original research that addresses contemporary challenges in accounting practices, financial reporting, corporate governance, and financial decision-making across private, public, and Islamic financial institutions.

MIZANIA: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Akuntansi focuses on the intersection of accounting, financial governance, and organizational sustainability, particularly how accounting information, financial practices, governance mechanisms, and technological developments influence financial accountability, organizational performance, and sustainable economic outcomes.

The journal welcomes research that contributes to the development, evaluation, and application of accounting and financial theories, methods, and practices.

The journal considers manuscripts within the following five core research areas: 1) Financial Accounting and Corporate Reporting; 2)  Auditing, Taxation, and Financial Accountability; 3) Corporate Finance and Financial Governance; 4) Sustainability Accounting and Corporate Governance; 5) Digital Accounting and Financial Innovation

The journal seeks to strengthen scholarly dialogue and disseminate research that contributes to the advancement of accounting knowledge, financial governance, and sustainable organizational practices at national and international levels.
